Intergenerational Matinees occur on Wednesday mornings during the mainstage season.Each season about 4,000 young people, from school around the area are able to experience live mainstage theatre to enhance their education.

The Rosalyn Madden Put A Child In A Seat Campaign is bringing theatre experiences to the young people of the community through the Vivian Crane Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The Professional Intern Program
provides professional work experience and training opportunities for college graduates and early career professionals in acting and theatre administration. The Black Rep acting interns staff the Professional Touring Company during the school year, conduct workshops and residencies, assist with marketing and development activities and are ambassadors to the broader community.
